Gift # 2: The Gift of Gratitude. Gratitude is both an attitude to gift yourself as well as a gift to others.

The above quote is both confronting and challenging. Truly, what would your life look like tomorrow if this were true? Would you wake up jobless? homeless? friendless? unwell? Would you still have all the blessings, people, opportunity and possessions which give your life meaning and purpose? When we think about it, there is a great deal for which to be thankful. Make a list and be amazed! The magic of gratitude is that the more it is “front of mind” the more abundant are our blessings. It is a win-win!
Life is never perfect but it is beautiful. We all have a measure of the gifts of life; the innumerable qualities which make each one of us unique and the trick is to be ever thankful for that measure and in doing so, that measure will be enough. We may have to learn to live within the boundaries which are imposed on us but happiness is rarely dependent on externals and enough is as good as a feast.
The science of Gratitude is sufficient reason to embrace its practice. The glass is indeed half full!

Gratitude is also the gift you give others and it needs to be expressed. I don’t think anyone will tire of you telling them that you appreciate them and are thankful to have them in your life. But if you never say it they may never truly know this to be so. This Christmas Season embrace and give the priceless gift of gratitude.
Merry Attitude of Gratitude Christmas to you.
