#32: Jon and Vangelis: I’ll Find My Way Home :1981

I hope you are going to love today’s song as much as I do. It is a pearler! Jon Anderson, an English “progressive rock” singer and Vangelis, a Greek musician who sings and plays the synthesiser formed the duo, Jon and Vangelis. Between 1980 and 1991 they released four albums. I’ll Find My Way Home is on their The Friends of Mr Cairo album released in December of 1981.

Jon Anderson is a multi talented musician, song writer and singer. Originally, the lead singer of the band Yes, he has released 15 solo albums. At 77 he is still collaborating with others and making music.

Vangelis is an acclaimed musician in his own right also with the soundtracks of Chariots of Fire, Conquest of Paradise and Blade Runner attributed to him. All wonderful music and available on YouTube.

Back to I’ll Find My Way Home which also has been covered by various artists from Demis Roussos and Gregorian whose clips are both worth watching. The song was also featured in the 1990 film, The Challengers.
